Fortifi, a global leader in food processing equipment and automation solutions, has acquired the French company LIMA (Les Innovations Mécaniques Alimentaires).
Based in Quimper, LIMA is one of France’s leading designers and manufacturers of separation and deboning equipment for meat production.
Founded in 1981, LIMA distributes its products worldwide. Present in 15 countries across five continents, Fortifi offers a wide range of solutions for the food industry.
A multidisciplinary team from Cornet Vincent Ségurel advised LIMA’s shareholders, including its CEO and two minority shareholders, on the sale of 100% of the company’s capital to the American group Fortifi.
