Magali BUSSAC

Having joined Cornet Vincent Ségurel in 2010 after collaborating with two business law firms based in Paris and Milan, Magali Bussac, a lawyer since 2007, is a specialist in Labor Law, a field in which she supports her French and foreign clients in managing their strategic and operational challenges.

Magali Bussac divides her practice between legal counsel and litigation in labor and social security law.

Her area of intervention covers routine human resources management (collective and individual relations, collective agreements, employment contracts, management of employee representative bodies and union relations, profit-sharing, participation, employee savings, training…) as well as complex operations (restructurings, outsourcings, job protection plans, voluntary departure plans, collective termination agreements, collective conflicts).

She represents her clients in high-risk litigation before judicial bodies and also supports them in their interactions with labor administration and social security organizations, particularly during inspections or legal proceedings.

As an Investigating Lawyer, she successfully completed the Qualifying Cycle at the Professional Training School of the Paris Court of Appeal (EFB) and regularly conducts internal investigations regarding moral or sexual harassment, discrimination, breach of equal treatment, fraud, or violations of internal laws or policies.

A certified Mediator from the Catholic Institute of Paris (IFOMENE) and member of the European Grouping of Magistrates for Mediation (GEMME), she acts as a mediator and supports her clients through conventional and judicial mediation processes.

She has additionally completed the European Judicial Studies Cycle (CEJUE) provided by the National School of Magistracy.

Double-qualified in Labor Law (University of Toulouse – 2002) and International and European Law (Rome – 2003) and holder of a European Master’s in Labor Law and Labor Sciences (Universities Toulouse 1 / Political Sciences of Florence), Magali BUSSAC handles transnational operations or litigation with international connections.

Working in 3 languages (French, Italian, English), Magali BUSSAC is also a member of the professional association AVOSIAL.
