Cornet Vincent Ségurel assists the purchasers of Scoop Voyages with an MBO

Published on 20 december 2023

Expert in business tourism for companies, the independent company SCOOP has just been taken over by its management team under an MBO, supported by two family offices.

Since 1996, Laurence Touchard, the company's president, has held a majority stake in Scoop Voyage. Now a new team of investors, the Management Buy-Out (MBO) team, has joined the company.

Managing Director Katell Tanguy, who already held a 10% stake in the company, together with CFO Grégory Gendron and Deputy Managing Director Samuel Régnier, have become majority shareholders. They also receive support from two family offices, which are minority shareholders, and from two Crédit Agricole regional banks for the senior debt.

Founded in 1987 by Michel Texier, Scoop Voyages designs tailor-made travel and seminar projects. With a team of 19 employees based in Chartres-de-Bretagne, the company generates annual sales of 11 million euros. With customers such as InVivo, Axéréal, Terrena, Demeter, Groupama and LCL, the company carries out around 80 customized trips a year in 30 to 40 countries, focusing on environmental issues.
