François HERPE is in charge of the Intellectual Property team in our Paris office. A graduate of Nantes Law School and the holder of a master's degree in Business law from University of Rennes (DJCE), François HERPE has been a partner with Cornet Vincent Ségurel since 2007.
He holds a certificate of specialisation (“certificat de spécialité”) in Intellectual Property Law. He has a strong experience and confirmed expertise in litigation relating to industrial property (patents, trademarks, designs, and models, etc.) and intellectual property (copyright, databases, adjacent rights, audio-visual and movie production, etc.), but also in complex litigation involving unfair competition and passing-off and in computer and internet litigation.
François HERPE advises his clients on all transactions relating to transfer of technologies, licensing, or exploiting intangible assets, partnering in research, and team innovations. François HERPE also assists his clients with all problems relating to the digital economy, to e-commerce, or e-projects, exploitation or transfer of data (in particular personal), or agreements relating to development or use of software or sophisticated management information systems. He represents private or state-owned companies, French and foreign, but also creators, individuals, and foundations.
François HERPE is an active member of several professional associations (in particular ALAI, AFPIDA, APRAM, AIPPI, Cyberlex). He teaches at university and is author of several publications in the area of Intellectual and Industrial Property and NTICs.
